Streaming The 6th Annual ONE OKC Block Party!

This year the oNE OKC 6th Annual Block Party took place at Washington Park with vendors, music, and tons of performances and demonstrations. It was nice to have an outdoor event again, even if The House team got a little sunburned. 🥵

oNE OKC is an event that aims to represent the fun, culturally rich, economically vibrant, and socially inclusive atmosphere that summarizes the future vision of Northeast Oklahoma City. The goals of oNE OKC are to create positive energy and awareness around the Renaissance, and engage youth and young professionals.

Before the block party, The House team streamed the State of Northeast OKC with representatives from the area like councilperson Nikki Nice.

Doing an outdoor stream in the Oklahoma heat isn’t the easiest thing to do, you’ll find out real fast that your gear will overheat! Luckily, we were able to create some makeshift shade and rock the stream out.

Unfortunately, the group running the audio at the event was having an even harder time and we did our best to compensate on stream for the constant peaking audio and feedback.

I love trying new things, mostly food. It's hard for me to fathom that people would be so closed minded and unwilling to try exotic foods or experience so I will be their surrogate. I'm a huge gamer, mostly kicking butt on all the consoles but delve into some PC gaming. I also love living in OKC, OK it's a city of passion and it's growing at a rapid rate.
